What do you do when you get triggered. If you use your mindfulness skills it may not be so bad, but if you forget to do that you may very well revert to old habits. The old habits that kept you safe when your trauma happened and continued to keep you safe during your life after the trauma.
To continue on with your everyday tasks, sometimes can be difficult immediately after being triggered and can last a short while or a very long time. I find music to help me through the difficult times and right now my go-to song is here, and if you listen right up to 2:50, and you like this type of duet, you will feel and see where it becomes magical.
